Agencies in Argentina eyeing 2025 growth
Agencies in Argentina are expecting growth in 2025, particularly for junior camps and adult language programmes, according to the results of a flash survey by national agency association ARSAA.
Growth prospects: The survey, which was completed by 20 member agencies of ARSAA – Argentine Study Abroad Association and shared with StudyTravel Magazine, shows that 85 per cent of respondents are anticipating growth in junior summer camps in 2025 compared with the previous year.
Adult language programs is also expected to be a growth segment this year for 60 per cent of the agencies surveyed, while 40 per cent of agencies are optimistic of growth in study and work courses.
For high school programs 35 per cent of agencies expect growth in the current year, followed by work and travel (25 per cent), volunteering programs (five) and higher education (five).
Destinations: Agents were also asked to name their top five destinations for the whole of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. The UK was the most popular destination, followed by Ireland, the USA and Canada, with New Zealand and Australia tied in fifth place.
StudyTravel Magazine’s regular Argentina Agency Surveys show that the UK is typically the most-chosen destination for language programs, and that language is the largest segment of business.
Gabriela Ardito, President of ARSAA, said that Germany, Italy, Malta and Switzerland were other destinations also mentioned by agencies.
ARSAA was established in 2016 and has grown to represent 24 agencies. The association, which is a member of the Federation of Education and Language Consultant Associations ( Felca ), received formal recognition as an official non-profit entity by the government last year.
